GTA Chinatown Wars has a drug dealing mini game sure to cause controversy
Never shy of controversy, the latest instalment of the GTA series sees you selling heroin, ecstasy, coke, acid, weed and downers.
Past editions have seen drug-running missions, but this is the most explicit reference yet. And considering it's on Nintendo's mostly kiddy-friendly DS handheld, it's sure to cause a bit of a storm in the tabloids.
"We wanted to have a drug-dealing minigame in lots of the GTA games," Rockstar VP Dan Houser told Edge magazine. "We played with it a little in Vice City Stories, because it worked really well juxtaposed with the main story."
And it ties in with the main plot, according to Houser. "It does intersect with the main story, and things you learn from it work with the story, but it mostly runs on its own."
So what do you reckon? Has Rockstar gone too far, or is it the best addition to GTA yet? Let us know below.
